Shri. Sarvesh Joshi

Ācārya Shri. Sarvesh Joshi was born into a traditional Hindu family and began his formal Vedic education at the age of 14. He commenced his studies in Karma-Kāṇḍa / Paurohitya and Śukla Yajurveda Saṃhitā under the esteemed guidance of Shri Ganesh Shastri Joshi, alongside learning Saṃskṛta under the mentorship of Mrs. Bhuskute.

He earned his B.A. (Saṃskṛta Viśārada) and went on to receive a Gold Medal in his postgraduate studies, Ācārya Veda (M.A. Hons in Vedic Literature) from Kavikulaguru Kālidāsa Saṃskṛta University, Rāmaṭekam (KKSU).

Shri. Sarvesh has pursued in-depth studies in Vedic literature, Vedāṅga-s, and also studied Vyākaraṇa-Śāstra (Saṃskṛta grammar), Indian philosophies (Bhāratīya Darśana), the Upaniṣad-s, Vāstuśāstra, and Indian astrology (Jyotiṣa-Śāstra). He has been introduced to advanced studies in Vyākaraṇa-Śāstra and has furthered his training in advanced Vedic chanting methods (Krama-Pāṭha, Jaṭā, Ghana-Pāṭha) with Vedic scholar Shri. Radhesham Pathak (Ghanapāṭhī). He is also guided by scholars like Shri. Madhur Joshi Guruji (Ghanapāṭhī).

He has been the recipient of several prestigious recognitions for his contributions to Vedic scholarship and Saṃskṛta literature:

Shri. Sarvesh has presented and published research papers in both Saṃskṛta and English on subjects such as Dharma-Śāstra, Vedic literature, and Indian Classical Music. Through Nigamakalpataru Gurukulam, he conducts weekly “Vidyārambha” classes for a global audience, offering both online and in-person instruction in various Śāstrīya Grantha-s, introductory Saṃskṛta Vyākaraṇa, and Paurohitya.

He holds a diploma in Saṃskṛta Journalism and Mass Communication and is also an experienced journalist in print, electronic, and digital media. His articles have inspired youth to connect with Indian culture. He has translated multiple works into Saṃskṛta from English, Marathi, and Hindi.

With a strong academic foundation in science and a deep-rooted Vedic lineage, Acharya Sarvesh brings a unique, scientific perspective to his traditional knowledge, an approach that distinguishes his work and amplifies his service to the nation.

Apart from his academic and Vedic pursuits, Ācārya Sarvesh is also an accomplished musician. He received his foundational training in Tablā and Hindustānī Classical Music from Lt. Shri. Subhash Rajhans and Lt. Shri. Puṇḍalika Bhagwat, and currently continues his training under the renowned Tablā maestro Shri. Ravindra Yāvagaḷ. He has performed solo, accompanied esteemed artists, and conducted numerous workshops and seminars across India.

He has also received several awards and scholarships in the field of music and is recognized as one of India’s promising young classical artists. His music is deeply influenced by his Vedic background and research-oriented approach, which has earned him appreciation from both scholars and connoisseurs of classical music.
